Labtek III Building houses two types of laboratories: research laboratories and educational laboratories. Research laboratories are used by faculty members to conduct research in their respective fields. These laboratories are also commonly used by undergraduate and graduate students to carry out their final projects and theses.

Educational laboratories, on the other hand, are not intended for research purposes. They are used to support teaching and learning activities such as practicums or classes that require computing facilities. The ITB Industrial Engineering Program also has three educational laboratories located in the Multifunction Building at the Arjawinangun campus.

Table 3 lists the laboratories used by the ITB Industrial Engineering Program along with their area. Table 4 presents the special equipment available in the educational laboratories.
